Linen Tales x Pavilion of Lithuania | 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia

Linen Tales has reached yet another milestone in their journey by partnering up with the Pavilion of Lithuania at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. This collaboration centered on Inflammation, a striking and thought-provoking installation with a lasting impression.

The installation was brought to life through the teamwork of three creative duos: artists Pakui Hardware, curators Valentinas Klimašauskas and João Laia, and architects Ona Lozuraitytė-Išorė and Petras Išora-Lozuraitis. Together, they created a thought-provoking exhibition that blends different art forms, merging the realms of medicine, technology, and nature.

At the heart of Inflammation is a powerful contrast between Marija Teresė Rožanskaitė’s figurative paintings and the futuristic aluminium and glass sculptures by Pakui Hardware.

While Rožanskaitė’s paintings show bodies struggling with illness in sterile hospital settings, Pakui Hardware’s sculptures resemble an enlarged nervous system, glowing with points of inflammation. This powerful combination brings to life the tension between human vulnerability and the world around us.

Linen Tales x Inflammation – is where art meets everyday life

Through this partnership, we were able to bring a piece of this striking exhibition into everyday life with the creation of exclusive linen bags that carry the essence of a beautiful message, behind Inflammation.

The design of the bags was inspired by the pulsating energy and abstract forms of the sculptures and paintings exhibited in the Pavilion. Each bag in this exclusive collection carries a unique pattern that echoes the imagery of inflamed nerves, reminding us of the delicate balance between the human body and its environment. Therefore, every bag is unique and slightly different, just like any of us!

These linen bags are here to be more than just regular accessories. They are wearable pieces of art that symbolize the intertwined relationship between the physical and metaphysical, as well as a sign of support towards artists and their creations.

We believe in the power of everyday objects to tell powerful stories (we’re named Linen Tales after all!). Through this collaboration, we wanted to offer art lovers a way to carry the themes of Inflammation into their daily lives. Whether you're walking through the streets of Venice or heading to a local market, these linen bags serve as a gentle reminder of the complex beauty of art, nature, and human resilience all together.

Celebration of Art and Friendship

Finally, our collaboration with the Pavilion of Lithuania is not just about beautiful bags or a celebration of art. It is also a celebration of partnerships and shared values. By aligning ourselves with such a powerful exhibition, we were able to merge the worlds of contemporary art and sustainable fashion, offering a product that is both functional and meaningful.

We believe this partnership reflects our commitment to supporting artists and curators who push the boundaries of creativity as well. It has been an honor to be part of this powerful project, and we hope that through our linen bags, art lovers around the world can feel more connected to the artistic expression and thought-provoking themes of Inflammation.

As we move forward, we remain dedicated to creating partnerships that inspire, innovate, and connect. Thank you for joining us on this artistic journey, and we hope our linen bags serve as a lasting reminder of the powerful messages behind the art we support.
